David Barnard

David is the Executive Director of the Southern African Non-Governmental Organisation Network (SANGONeT), based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Prior to joining SANGONeT he was Manager, Programme for Development Research (PRODDER) at the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) (1992-2000). He serves on President Mbeki’s National Commission on the Information Society for Development.
